Friends

I am also seriously pissed off at my boss because I am getting screwed over. I have been working at HTC for four years, and my co-worker (who has only worked for a year) was asked to work all of our camps this summer. I only worked the first camp because she never showed up, and two days of another camp since she went out of town. I feel like I deserve those hours because I have been there so long, and I do a lot more than sit in the office. I had to go in today to fill water-balloons for an hour. I was under the impression that my co-worker was going to be working on them, and I was going to give her an hour break from it. So, I get to work around 9:30am, go into the office and she is sitting there reading a book. I was so pissed. She had no clue about the water-balloons, and so I did most of the work. I also had to do snack for the camp. The water-balloons are a major part of the last day, and each team gets about 75 to 100 balloons each. The two previous camps I did the water-balloons myself, and here it today and there are two of us and she is complaining about it. I am still pissed off about the whole thing. If I do decide to work at the center next summer, I am going to demand to do all of the camps, plus my normal four days of work, and subbing as league coordinator.

I really want to go on vacation, like a week or two week vacation. I just want to get a beach house or a lake house with my closet friends, and just chill out until school starts. I have until the 25th of August to hang out and have fun. Although I have a month left of summer, I need to start figuring out what I need to take with me to school. I know my fridge, my vacuum, my tennis gear, and my car. Oh and clothes too.  I also have to coordinate everything with my lovely Sarah, and the difficult thing is that I am moving in without my parents this year. My dad is having surgery on the 21st of August, so he will not be able to make the trip that soon after the surgery. So, Sarah and I are going to figure out what both of us is taking and I will take as much of our lighter stuff, and she will take my heavier stuff. That first week or so, I will not have all of my things since my parents are coming down labor day weekend. Craziness!
